My paper earrings are made from multiple layers of card stock, chipboard, and paper. Every piece is handmade by me and my sister-bestie, Lauren. Each layer of paper is carefully glued, cut, sealed and assembled. The earrings are rigid but perfectly (and extremely) lightweight for any day of the week! They are sealed for water resistance… not for submersion which means you should be ok if you get caught in the rain unexpectedly, but don’t jump into a pool or bath! Trust me…
I currently have over 45 unique earring styles that I have named after my friends, family, and most loyal customers and I’m always adding new ladies to the mix (you could be next!). Be on the lookout for surprise PLAY DAY pop-ups. These are one-of-a-kind pieces that I create when I need a day “off” to just sit down and PLAY, PLAY, PLAY … they often feature mixed papers from past collections and are some my biggest and funkiest designs!
What is your return/refund policy?
Due to the small batch and ever-changing nature of our inventory, all sales are final. We do not except returns or exchanges. Please carefully read product descriptions for exact sizing.
What are your earrings made out of?
All of our earrings are made out of... PAPER! That's right, we duplex multiple layers of paper, cardstock, and chipboard to create a sturdy earring. Our earrings are thick enough that they will not rip, but still wonderfully light-weight.
Are your earrings waterproof?
Our earrings are made out of paper so they are by nature, not waterproof. We do seal every earring to give them a layer of protection against moisture. If you get caught in a light rain, your earrings should be just fine. If they are submerged in water or worn during a shower, chances are they will not hold up. Monday Morning Press is not responsible for water or liquid damage.
What if my earrings are ruined in the shower?
It happens and I'm so sorry. We try to be very transparent about our materials and their limits. Unfortunately, we cannot replace earrings ruined by water damage. Try allowing then to dry and re-gluing a post on the back. We love to use E6000 which can be found in any craft store.
What if my earring post falls off (not related to water damage)?
Please send us an email at natalie@mondaymorningpress with a picture of your earring. We will do our best to get a repair kit in the mail asap if your earring was sold within the past 3 months.
What kind of hardware do you use?
Our (silver looking) posts are nickel-free brass. These will be found on any stud or statement earring with a top.
Our gold hooks and gold ball posts are nickel free 18k gold coated.
We have tested a variety of hardware options and are happy where we have landed. A lot of customers tell us they have sensitive ears and our earrings don't irritate them at all! Being ultra light-weight also helps :)
Of course, we cannot guarentee you won't have trouble but we have done our best to find the perfect balance of cost and quality for for our hardware.
I have sensitive ears, what are my options?

My next piece of advice would be to order a pair of studs and see how they do!
Your third option is to buy the earrings and request "No hardware" in the special intructions note at checkout. This way you can add your own if you know what works for you! All you need is a pair of jewelry pliers for hooks styles and a tube of glue for posts. We love to use E6000. *The is no discount for removing hardware.
Do you offer clip-ons?
Yes! We can convert any style with a 5/8" top on posts to clip-on. Simply write "convert to clip-on" in the special instructions note at checkout. *Please allow an extra 2 days for clip-on conversion.
How often do you add new inventory?
We launch a brand new collection every month. It usually falls on the 3rd or 4th Thursday of the month. The launch time is 8:00pm EST. Sign up for our mailing list located at the bottom of the page for all the latest deets on product launches, early access, and discount codes!
Will all styles be restocked?
No. When a collection launches we only pick a few popular styles to restock. The rest are gone once they sell out which can happen pretty quickly on launch night.
